Where She Went Book Review

When I hear there was a sequel to If I Stay by Gayle Forman I had to read it immediately! Like the first book, it a quick and easy read: perfect light reading.

The story continues from Adam's perspective this time. Years after the accident, Mia and Adam have gone down very different paths, this story is all about the aftermath of tragedy and how it can really change your life in ways you didn't expect. When you find yourself in a place you don't want to be, sometimes it is a combination of your own self-will and fate that will get you back on track...

The emotion of the story felt authentic. The mix of anger, sadness, and resentment on Adam's part showed his thought process very well. Adam's emotional space showcased how a tragedy can effect each individual in ways you might not think. People can love each other very strongly and still be town apart by circumstances beyond their control.

I was satisfied with the hopeful ending an look forward to reading more of Forman's work.
